Summer Soar

Join us June 13th 9:30-12:00 for our 2nd Annual Summer Soar!

All profits go towards our capital campaign to build more caging. 

This event will be held at the Grey Snow Eagle House (335567 E 740 RD, Perkins, OK 74059) and will feature interactive booths, a live bird show, self guided tours of the eagle aviary, and access to our gallery and auditorium in our Welcome and Education Center (WEC).

NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR! Ticket sales start June 1st at 12:00PM CST and end June 11th at 5:00PM CST unless sold out prior to this time.

  1. Children five and under get in free! All other tickets will be $7. All tickets are sold online. No tickets will be sold at the door.  
  2. Please purchase a free ticket for individuals five and under so we can properly plan. 
  3. Tickets are available at the bottom of the page that says “order received.” They are also emailed to the email address you provided on checkout within 24 hours of purchase. If you do not see them, check your spam folders.
  4. Tickets are limited and once they sell out, they will be gone. There are no refunds on ticket sales unless the event has to be cancelled due to weather safety. 
  5. Gates will open at 9:20 to begin letting people into the facility! As we will be setting up booths while also caring for our raptors, we cannot let people in early.
  6. There will be a check-in table in the WEC for you to check in with your ticket(s). You will receive a wrist band when you check in.
  7. There is a water fountain in the new Welcome Center  so you can refill your water bottles. We will also have water available for purchase. No food will be sold.
  8. Booths and self guided tours will be shut down ~10:45AM and during the bird show (11:00AM-11:40AM) as the staff will be working the show. No visitors will be allowed on the grounds at this time.
  9. The event and access to the grounds will end after the bird show. 
  10. The content for the booths and bird show will be at an elementary age level but everyone is welcome to enjoy the fun and learn about birds!
  11. There will be activities spread out around the facility (indoors and outdoors) with various booths activities like meeting a game warden/biologist, building a bird, and birding for Oklahoma bird species.
  12. The bird show will be held inside in our WEC auditorium.
  13. An email will be sent out to all ticket holders prior to the event with last minute updates.
