In 2026, we are launching a small capital campaign to building additional quarantine cages. With annual intake numbers increasing over 50% from five years ago along with the new contagious diseases such as Avian Influenza being more prevalent, more space is needed for new bald and golden eagle intakes. The Second Flight Care Initiative includes a range of contribution packages, and we gladly accept gifts in any amount. Every contribution helps us move us closer to completing this project to help save more eagles.

By adding these much needed cages, we can continue taking in the highest number of injured eagles we have ever seen while ensuring that we are practicing proper biosecurity.
