Drew grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and always had an interest and love for animals. He started volunteering at the GSEH during his undergrad. He also interned at the Tulsa Zoo working with the education animals and the summer camp. Drew loves working with animals but is allergic to many mammals so the Aviary was a great place to work that wouldn’t affect his allergies. In his time working at the Aviary Drew has found a passion for working with birds of prey and taking care of them. One of the opportunities he was very excited about was working with education birds like Hannah. Drew graduated with a B.S. in Zoology from Oklahoma State University in 2023. He now lives in Stillwater with his girlfriend and their two cats. His favorite birds are the peregrine falcon and the bearded vulture. His favorite dinosaur is the dilophosaurus.
